This is in response to Sam Shamoun's article over here.

This would have to qualify as being one of Shamoun's stupidest articles.

Can anyone please tell me where Shamoun showed that Allah's Throne (which WAS and not necessarily still is on the water) is the same throne that Iblis has on the water? I sure didn't see where Shamoun showed that.

Also, we know that Allah's Throne is above the seven heavens http://www.islamqa.com/en/ref/47048, while the throne of Satan is on water on planet earth, more specifically on the ocean according to a narration in Musnad Ahmad.

Clearly, they are not the same throne.

One may also refer to Ibn Hajar Al Asqalani, Fathul Bari, Volume 13, pp. 411 for further proof of why Allah's Throne is not the same one of Iblis's on the ocean.
